Meeting slated for organics facility

Hawaii County will host a community meeting in Keaau on its proposed East Hawaii Organics Facility.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Keaau Community Center.

The composting facility is proposed to be built at the Shipman Business Park.
