Big abstract art show opens today at Wailoa Center
The fifth biennial “Abstract Only!” exhibit opens today in the Wailoa Center Main Gallery, with a reception for the artists from 5-7 p.m.
Awards will be announced at 5:30 p.m., and entertainment will follow. Music will be provided by Moon Brown and Gary Washburn.
Light refreshments also will be served.
This event is free and open to the public.
This year’s competition will display 73 two- and three-dimensional works of art by 53 artists.
Visitors are invited to vote for their favorite abstract artwork and at the end of the exhibit, the People’s Choice Award Winner will be announced.
