The Big Island Substance Abuse Council has made it easier for the community to access its services by launching a new website on March 7.
The new site offers easier access to services and resources for individuals and families seeking help with recovery as well as for professionals working with individuals that may need BISAC’s services.
“We’re really excited about the new website. It is a very user friendly site, easy to navigate and access the information and services people are needing,” said BISAC CEO Dr. Hannah Preston-Pita.
This year marks BISAC’s 50th anniversary of inspiring individuals and families to reclaim and enrich their lives in the wake of the ravages of substance abuse. They offer a continuum of services that are culturally appropriate and aligned with the ever-changing
behavioral health field.
“The website is one way we are continually working on being innovative in what we do to serve the needs of the community,” said Preston-Pita.
