The Palace Theater and Pier Sircello are producing a talent competition for keiki ages 13 and younger at the Palace Theater in the spring. They are looking for talented singers, musicians, dancers, acrobats and comedians to audition for the big show and competition. Approximately 20 acts will be selected to perform Sunday, April 6, at the Palace Theater.
“Those acts will compete for big prize money, which will go towards further study in whatever interests the winners choose. Fifteen percent of the box office will go towards first-, second- and third-place acts,” said Sircello.
“With a full box office, that will mean approximately $600 to a first-place winner.
Preliminary auditions will take place through video only. Applications and videos are due by March 1. Applicants will receive notification about placement in the show by March 15.
Advance tickets will be available at the Palace Theater for $13/adults and $10/keiki. Tickets at the door will be $15 and $12.
