Hawaii Island Pride is accepting festival food, craft vendors
Hawaii Island Pride is recruiting vendors for its second annual LGBT Pride Parade and Festival to be held on Saturday, July 12, in Hilo. The celebration will begin with a parade from 11 a.m. to noon. Parade participants will line up from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Ben Franklin Arts & Crafts, followed by a festival at the Mo‘oheau Park Bandstand until 4 p.m.
“The festival will feature live entertainment, great food, crafts from local merchants, as well as informational booths from community groups. This will be a family friendly event with activities and fun for all ages,” said spokeswoman Eden Patino.
Coordinators are currently accepting parade applicants and food and craft vendor booths for the festival. For more information, contact 935-8850. Visit http://hawaiiislandpride.org.
