The Hilo Walk MS: Score a Cure! event is set for Saturday, June 7, at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Multipurpose Stadium in Hilo.

There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum. To register or get more information, visit www.walkmshawaii.org or call the National MS Society Hawaii Office at 532-0806.

Everyone is invited to join in from 4-7 p.m., with check-in starting at 4 p.m. and the walk at 5 p.m.

After the walk, participants can enjoy family friendly games, live entertainment and a light dinner.

Participants who raise $100 or more will receive a Walk MS T-shirt and will be eligible for assorted prizes.

Walk MS is a fundraiser for the National MS Society, which connects people living with MS and those who care about them.

“It is a day we come together to show the connections and support in the community for our neighbors living with Multiple Sclerosis,” said spokeswoman Dominique Bartolo. “The funds raised at Walk MS go towards supporting innovative research and to programs and services that aid the over 1,200 families living with Multiple Sclerosis in Hawaii.”
