Library hosts family storytime
“Family Storytime” will be offered year-round at the Hilo Public Library at 10:30 a.m. every Saturday beginning this weekend. Children ages 5 and younger and their families are invited to join Aunty Gretchen and Aunty Marsha for the free storytime programs, unless a holiday falls on a Saturday.
The storytime will feature stories, sing-along songs, finger plays, and a simple craft. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Contact the library three weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
Hilo Public Library is located at 300 Waianuenue Ave. For more information and future storytime dates, call the library at 933-8890.
