Mahalo from HIRTA
The Hawaii Island Retired Teachers Association completed a successful fundraiser with our annual poinsettia sale.
The funds are geared to make sashes for the teacher candidates at the University of Hawaii at Hilo School of Education.
We would like to thank the Hawaii Tribune-Herald for its timely coverage and the many volunteers who came to unload the hundreds of flowers and help with the sales.
Most of all, we would like to thank the community for its wonderful support year after year of purchasing our beautiful poinsettias in varied colors and sizes.
Mahalo nui loa. We look forward to all your support next year!
Michie Kuwaye, Chairperson
Carol D. Brown, HIRTA president
