Parker School open house set
Families looking for K-12 school options for next year are invited to attend Parker School’s admissions open house on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. During this time, parents and students will have the chance to tour the campus located in the heart of Waimea, meet current Parker students, teachers and staff, and learn about the school’s academic and extracurricular programs and $8,500 annual scholarships for students in grades 6-9.
Parker will also hold a grades K-1 preview from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and a grades 6-9 admissions preview from 5:30 to 7 p.m.on Thursday, Jan. 16.
The K-1 preview lets parents of future kindergarteners and first-graders see firsthand the K-1 program and teachers in action, to explore the classrooms and to chat with teachers. It is a parents-only event. The grades 6-9 preview is open to parents and students and lets them ask questions of teachers and administrators. The school asks parents interested in either of these two events to RSVP. Visit www.parkerschoolhawaii.org, call 885-7933, ext. 7107, or email email@example.com.
