The Project has CD release parties for their album “The Project, Straight from the Heart” on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Humpy’s Big Island Alehouse in Kona and Friday, Jan. 24 at 100% Moxies in Hilo. Both shows are 9 p.m.-midnight with no cover charge. CDs will be available for $5. The band is, left to right: Kyle J. Sabate, guitar, bass and keyboards; Bruce David, drums; Marcie Mejia, vocals; and Ryan Sabate, guitar, bass and keyboards.
