The Coast Guard and Hawaii County Fire Department are searching for a 63-year-old man who fell overboard early Wednesday morning in waters near Pohoiki Bay.
Charles Rosecrans of Pahoa was returning to the Pohoiki boat ramp when a swell apparently knocked him overboard at about 1 a.m., according to the Coast Guard.
Another man on the boat reported the incident.
