Lorraine Freitas Kelau, 82, of Sallisaw, Okla., formerly of Honokaa, died Aug. 31, 2013, at her home. Born in Kalopa, she was retired from the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Waikoloa as an inspectress. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo. Survived by sons, Ronald (Sherri) Cambra, Clayton (Quinlan) Cambra and Michael (Lorenza) Echavez; daughter, Tina (Mark) Stevenson; sisters, Dorothy Paiva, Janet (Dan) Patten and Pat (Fentiman) DeCambra; brother, Edwin Freitas; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dixon Choko Oyadomari, 94, of Keaau died March 21 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Ola‘a, he was a retired automotive and truck repair shop supervisor from the former Puna Sugar Company and member of Puna Hongwanji Kyodan, Keaau Village Kumiai, and Hui Okinawa. Private services held. No koden. No flowers. Survived by son, Alvin (Sharman) Oyadomari of Keaau; sister, Yoshie Ung of Hilo; sister-in-law, Frances Oyadomari of Honolulu; two grandchildren, Ken and Kathy Oyadomari; numerous nieces and nephews. Marinalei Nalani Rezentes, 16, of Hilo died April 2 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a sophomore at Hilo High School, a member of Hilo High School’s water polo and soccer team, and a member of Ka Uhane Hemolele O Ka Malamana Church. Friends may call 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; Funeral service at 6 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. Survived by parents, Rodney and Colleen Rezentes of Hilo; sisters, Sharnell Spillman of Hilo, Raynette Rezentes of Hilo, Pomai Rezentes of Hilo; maternal grandmother, Katherine Mendoza of Hilo; three nieces, a nephew, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Betty Kazuko Yazaki, 72, of Hilo died March 17 at the Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was a retired physical therapy aide and licensed practical nurse at Hilo Medical Center and a member of Nohea Kumiai and Hilo Medical Center Retirees Club. Friends may call 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; Funeral service at 10. Casual attire. Survived by son, Glenn (Angela) Yazaki of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Henry (Norine) Okuhara of Hilo, Thomas (Wanthine) Okuhara of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
