Jeane Dennis La Salle, 80, died April 26 at Life Care Center in Kona. Born in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, he retired from Southern California Edison as an electrical engineer and was a Marine Corps veteran who served during the Korean War. Private services held. Survived by wife Katie La Salle of Kailua-Kona; sons Craig La Salle, Jeff La Salle both of Tennesee, Chris La Salle; brother Alvin La Salle both of California; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.

Mitsue Morishita, 94, died at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Kapehu, she was a homemaker and member of Honomu Henjoji Mission (Odaishisan). Private services held. No koden. No flowers. Survived by sons Gary T. Morishita of Pepeekeo, Rudy (Carol) Morishita of Kaneohe, Oahu; sisters Shizuko Sumiye of Pepeekeo, Kiyoko Sugiyama of Laupahoehoe, Hideko Horiuchi of Hilo; sisters-in-law Harue Mende, Masae Mende, both of Hilo; two grandchildren Sherri Morishita, Eric Morishita; several nieces and nephews.
