Police apprehended 26-year-old Brandon K. Paulino-Pawai of Hilo, who was the subject of a wanted bulletin by police.
He was arrested Saturday morning following a burglary on Iolani Street in Hilo. He was charged with first-degree burglary, contempt of court and violating terms of a deferred plea. His bail was set at $15,250.
Also arrested were 19-year-old Scott Vasconcellos-Rego and 23-year-old Ross Macariola, both of Waimea.
Macariola was released without charges pending further investigation.
Vasconcellos-Rego was charged with first-degree burglary and an unrelated contempt of court charge. His bail was set at $5,150.
Paulino-Pawai and Vasconcellos-Rego were detained at the Hilo police cellblock until their initial court appearance Monday.
