Freddie “Dago” Ennith Kaholoaa, 68, of Mountain View died Nov. 24 at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Waipio Valley, he was a plasterer, a member of the Mason &Plasterers Union Local 630, the proprietor of Kaholoaa’s Hale, and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Visitation will take place from noon-3 p.m. Saturday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home; memorial service at 1 p.m. Celebration of life for family at 4 p.m. at their residence. Casual attire. No flowers. Survived by spouse, Charlyn Kaholoaa of Mountain View; sons, Keoni (Precilla) Kaholoaa and Keoki Kaholoaa, both of Keaau; brothers, Derwin (Geri) Kaholoaa of Honokaa, Solomon (Bobbie) Kaholoaa of Hilo, William (Caroline) Kaholoaa of Hoolehua, Molokai, and Jeremiah (Raina) Kaholoa’a of Kahalui, Maui; sisters, Eunice Thompson of Eclectic, Ala., Mary (Harry) Cabrera of Kohala and Rachel Kaholoaa of Hilo; numerous nieces and nephews. Wendy Joyce Fletcher, 60, of Keaau died Wednesday at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. No services.
