A 27-year-old woman suffered a head injury when a rock fell on her head along the Tom Tom Trail in Makapuu.
Firefighters took a call on the incident just before 11 a.m.
The woman suffered a large gash on the top of her head, but she remained alert.
A 19-year-woman was injured crossing a stream at the Kaau Crater Trail in Palolo Valley.
Fire department spokesman Kevin Mokulehua said the woman tried to climb a rope near a waterfall but slipped and fell on her back 10 feet onto rocks.
Both women were flown by rescue helicopter to landing zones and taken by paramedics to a hospital.
