Louis “Louie” Johan Behr, 98, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Hilo, died March 27. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, he taught and preached for many years in Hilo. Survived by wife, Millie Behr; children, Karen of Tucson, Mark (Jule) of Denver and Joel (Kapua) of Hilo; grandchildren.

Eugenia Delapena Esteban, 66, of Hilo died March 27 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Laguilayan, Isulan, Sulfan Kudarat, the Philippines, she worked for Hawaiian Linen Supply. Visitation 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday (April 9) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Cremation to follow. Survived by husband, Armenio V. Esteban of Hilo; sons, Baltazar (Bhing Torma) Esteban and Carlos Esteban of the Philippines; daughters, Esmeralda Esteban and Espernaza (Jimmy) Sapon of the Philippines; sister-in-law, Anatalia E. (Benito) Lorenzo of Kona; brother-in-law, Pacifico V. Esteban of Hilo; caregiver and niece, Maria Corazon E. (Francisco) Cariaga of Hilo; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Rose Loke Henriques, 75, of Kailua-Kona died March 19 at home. Born in Kealakekua, she was a housekeeper at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, the former Kona Hukilau and Kona Inn hotels and Casa De Emdeko, member of ILWU Local 4 and New Hope Legacy Church. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Kealakehe High School cafeteria, 73-5000 Puohulihuli St., Kailua-Kona. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by son, Allan (Leilani Campbell) Henriques of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Maria Kihe and Josephine Anakalea of Kailua-Kona; brother-in-law, Rofley Hao of Kalaoa, Kona; one granddaughter; nieces, nephews and cousins. Jon “Harley Jon” “Volvo Jon” Alan Livingstone, 74, of Kailua-Kona died March 7 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Seattle, he was a self-employed mechanic, former Boeing airplane builder, former Washington state police officer and U.S. Army veteran. Celebration of life at a later date. No flowers. Memorial donations to Hospice of Kona, P.O. Box 4130, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745. Survived by companion, Nina Emmerling of Kailua-Kona; a niece and a nephew.
