Donald Dee Giles, 89, of Kailua-Kona died July 30 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Silverton, Colorado, he was a retired real estate salesman, member of the Shriners and a U.S. Army veteran. Private services to be held. Survived by son, Scott (Joan) Giles of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Laura (Gil) Jorgenson of Coos Bay, Oregon; grandsons, Allen and Warren Giles, both of Honolulu. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
Devin Conrad Goetsch, 25, of Honolulu, formerly of Kailua-Kona, died July 29. Born in Sacramento, California, he recently had graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and was employed at California Pizza Kitchen. Services to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pahoehoe Beach Park in Kailua-Kona. Survived by parents, John and Tammy Goetsch of Kailua-Kona; sister, Lauren Goetsch; maternal grandmother, Diana Hayes; maternal grandfather, Gary Hayes; paternal grandparents, Alan and Diane Goetsch, all of Sacramento, California; plus numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the Goetsch family with arrangements.
