Randall Maka-alu Hatori, 39, of Hilo died Feb. 4 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a landscaper. Friends may call from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by daughter, Kanoelani Hatori of Waimea; son, Randall Hatori Jr. of Waimea; mother, Belinda (Mel Alo) Borges of Hilo; hanai-mother, Barbara Freitas of Honolulu; brothers, Anthony Hatori, John Hatori, Benji Hatori and Clarence Hatori, all of Hilo; sisters, Cecilia (Tyrone) Kahooilihala of Keaau and Pua Borges of Honomu; step-brothers, Michael Hatori of Waianae, Oahu; Phillip Hatori of Waianae, Oahu; Ronnie Borges of Waikoloa, Ricky Borges of Honokaa, and Steven Freitas of Honolulu; step-sisters, Eldora Hatori of Waianae, Oahu; Anna Pu of Maui, Joyce Nian of Waianae, Oahu; and Tracy Borges of Hilo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
