Eulogy at 9:30 a.m. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Aloha attire. Survived by parents, Eric Lapre and Hillary Gomes of Hilo; paternal grandmother, Carolynn (Roy Rodrigues) Lapre of Pahoa; maternal grandmother; Luana Hiro Gomes of Hilo; paternal grandfather, Eric Gomes of Hilo; paternal great-grandmother, Nelly Lapre of California; maternal great-grandmother, Ah Lan Hiro of Hilo; aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert O. Silverstein, 63, of Pahoa died Dec. 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Boston, he was an author. Private services. Survived by daughters, Seraphina Prell of Pahoa, Cherub Silverstein, Rosey Silverstein Jasmine Silverstein and Savana Silverstein of Hilo; brother, Steve (Sheila) Silverstein of Delray Beach, Fla.; sister, Joy Silverstein of Boston. Jean Elizabeth Tremblay, 82, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 27. Born in Rapid City, S.D., she was a retired operations officer in the banking industry and a Catholic. Private services. Survived by husband, John Tremblay of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Joan Tremblay of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one grandchild. Arrangements by A Hui Hou Crematory &Funeral of West Hawaii.
