Sandra Fae Johnson, 69, of Kailua-Kona died June 8. Born in Chico, Calif., she was an RN and a homemaker, and attended the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church. Private services will be held. Donations may be made to the Red Cross in her name. Survived by husband, Stephen Johnson; son, David (Amanda) Pinkston of Redding, Calif.; daughter, Kimberly Brown of Chico, Calif.; brother, Gary (Mary Ann) Fosmire of State College, Penn.; and four grandchildren. Sachie Jones, 90, of Kailua died June 5. Born in Pahoa, she was employed with Aiea Naval Hospital, Blue Cross and Orange County Library and retired as a State Farm Insurance secretary after 18 years. Visitation at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Nuuanu Memorial Park &Mortuary in Honolulu, service at 9:45 a.m., Private entombment. Aloha attire. Jones; sons, Dr. Lloyd (Janet Smith) Jones and Harold “Hal” (Lana Yong) Jones; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Yachie Motobu of San Diego and Chizuku Nakamura of Ewa Beach; caregiver, Dianna Kardos and her children.
Juliet Orevillo (Marion), 73, died June 2. Raised in Pahoa, she was a Hula, Tahitian, and Maori dancer. Services held. Dawn Tilman, 77, of Orchidland Estates, formerly of Los Angeles, died June 2 in Hilo. Born in Las Vegas, she practiced law until she retired as an administrative judge for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Survived by husband, William T. Elston; children, Ellen Crane, Bonnie Scott, Paul C. Scott, Stephanie Elston, Brynn Elston, William C. Elston; siblings, Rick Tilman, Kathleen Tilman, Tim Tilman, Paul Tilman; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
