Garry Michael Hajek, 59, of Hakalau died at the Hilo Medical Center on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Born in Michigan he was the owner of the Lai Nani Resort in Hakalau. Friends may call at the Lai Nani Resort on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.; Memorial service at 3 p.m. Survived by daughter, Kera Hajek of Virginia; son, Cory Hajek of Hakalau. Rose Keanaaina, 89, of Waipahu, Oahu, died Oct. 28 at Straub Hospital. Born in Kalaoa, Kona. Friends may call at 11 a.m. March 15 at the family’s residence at 73-4373 Hawaii Belt Road in Kalaoa, Kona, for a gathering. Urn burial in He Mau Ke Aloha O Palakiko A Ana Keanaaina Family Plot. Casual attire, flowers welcome. Survived by brothers, Luther Keanaaina of Waipahu, Norman (Carol Ann) Keanaaina of Kalaoa, Kona; sister, Phoebe (Robert) Gomes of Pahala; numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley Darrel Noland, 66, of Kailua-Kona died March 1. Born in Vanaliea, Ill., he served in the Army and worked as a shuttle bus driver. Private services to be held. Survived by daughters, Elena (Matthew Tavares) Noland of Hilo; Palila Noland of Kealakekua; Julie Feller of Bakersfield, Calif.; Leah (Martin Jensen) Mirget of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Carolyn Percell of Warren, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
