Ronald “Ronnie” James Andrade, 75, of Hilo died April 22 at home. Born in Kealakekua, he was a retired state Department of Transportation highways maintenance supervisor and a driver/mechanic for Andrade Service, Inc. in Honokaa. He was also a bulldozer operator/mechanic for Ishimaru in Naalehu, Andrade-Kau Contracting in Naalehu and Kawaihae Ranch in Naalehu. He was a member of Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Roy Ryoichi Yonemori, 75, of Hilo died Wednesday at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired teacher at Waiakea High School. He was the founder and former chief instructor at Hilo Seishikan Aikido and former head instructor at Hilo Ki-Aikido Club. He was also a member of Hawaii Federatoin of Teachers, Hau‘oli Kumiai, and Big Island Sports Hall of Fame. Visitation from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo.
