Allen Dillon, 68, of Volcano died Oct. 23 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in California, he was a behavioral health therapist at Hilo and Waiakea high schools and The Arc of Hilo. Akira Fujimoto, 92, of Hilo died Oct. 22 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a civil and structural engineer, retired County of Hawaii Department of Water Supply manager, member and past Kyodan president of Hilo Meishoin Mission, member of American Society of Professional Engineers and U.S. Army World War II veteran. Napoleon Manuel Preal Higuera, 49, of Hilo died Oct. 14 at North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. Born in Fresno, Calif., he was a U.S. Postal Service supervisor. Private services. Joseph “Joe” Allen Hinton, 71, of Kailua-Kona died Aug.18 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Yoshie Kawamura, 100, of Hilo died Oct. 17 at a private care home in Hilo. Born in Reedley, Calif., she was a kitchen helper for the former Moya’s Store in Hilo and member of Hilo Hooganji Mission. Jeffrey Les Natividad, 54, of Keaau died Oct. 22 at Hilo Medical Center.
