WALKING IN THE WILD MEDITATION
Where: ‘Iole, historic Bond Homestead, Kapaau
When: 8:30-10 a.m. Jan. 5
Details: Gavin Harrison leads silent hike on first Saturday of each month. Different route each month, and not strenuous. The meditation concludes with a few minutes of silence together followed by refreshments. Bring a hat, hiking shoes/ boots, sunscreen, bottled water, a towel or cushion for rest stops in nature, raingear, mosquito repellent and small hiking backpack if desired. Suggested donation: $10-$15.
