Details: Christmas cheer is on tap at this holiday classic directed by Arval Shipley. This is the final night of the show, an adaptation of Dickens’ “Scrooge” filled with touching moments, entertaining humor, singing, dancing and lots of Christmas carols. For tickets, call 935-9085 or stop by EHCC. $12 for adults, $10 for students/ seniors/members.

CELEBRATION TONIGHT MARKS THE END OF THE MAYAN CALENDAR AS WE KNOW IT 

Where: Kalani Retreat Center 

When: 7-10 p.m. Dec. 22 

Details: Mark the end of the Mayan Calendar with practical and fun exercises to expand the mind, and music, dance and an open mic for all “to extend the light.” Experience the freedom of breaking out of old patterns; “step out and feel your divinity.” The band Star and the Starbursts will premiere and facilitate the event. No charge, but donations gratefully accepted to help cover expenses. Sponsored by The Foundation for the Awakening Mind —“The Ascension Center.”

PAHOA SENIOR CENTER HOSTS CHRISTMAS PARTY ON MONDAY 

Where: Pahoa Senior Center 

When: 8:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 24 

Details: Mix and mingle at a pupu potluck open to all age 55 and older. The winter activities schedule will be posted and registration can be done during the party.
