KAMUELA PHILHARMONIC WINTER CONCERT

Details: Winners of the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra’s Second Annual Concerto Competition will be featured. Eugene Son, 11, will perform “Piano Concerto No. 1” (first movement) by Mendelssohn; Noe Baladad, 15, will play “Piano Concerto No. 2” (first movement) by Saint Saens. Both are students of Thomas Yee of Honolulu. Evan Lin, 17, a student of Joanna Fan of Honolulu, will be the soloist for Prokofiev’s “Piano Concerto No. 3” (first movement). Also on the program will be Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 7.” Admission is free.
