‘Imiloa offers fall intercession
‘Imiloa Astronomy Center is seeking junior explorers and innovators in grades K-3 for its CAMP ‘Imi-POSSIBLE Fall Intersession Program — bRain-STORM — happening Monday through Friday, Oct. 7-11.
“bRain-STORM investigates our amazing atmosphere,” said ‘Imiloa spokesman Vinnie Recinto. “Keiki explorers will be immersed in a week-long adventure of exciting science experiments and activities looking at the extraordinary weather systems of island Earth in the sea of space.”
On the final day, parents, along with keiki, will actively participate in the “bRain-STORM Ho‘ike,” a celebration of new learning. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop-off is available as early as 7:30 a.m. with pick-up by 4 p.m.
Enrollment for the intersession program is open. Tuition for the program is $180 for members and $200 for non-members.
