Artist offers silk painting class

<p>HOLLYN JOHNSON/Tribune-Herald</p><p>Patti Pease Johnson paints a piece of charmeuse silk that will become a scarf while giving a free demonstration of her work outside of High Fire Hawaii Gallery on June 25. Johnson will be offering an experimental watercolor class on Friday, July 5, from 6-9 p.m. for $50 plus a $10 material fee. There also will be a silk painting workshop where students can paint their own silk scarf on Aug. 16 from 5:30-9 p.m. for $60 plus a $10 material fee at the gallery.
