Classes set on Apple system
If you have an iPad, an iPhone or an iPod touch, you might know that Apple has released its newest operating system and that it’s a complete overhaul from the originals. It not only looks different, but it has new ways of performing tasks, and has some fun new tricks up its sleeve.
Need a tour guide? Dawn Hurwitz of Mac Assistance and Natec Harijan of Hawaii Youth Business Center are teaching a class to help you learn the new territory. It will be held at HYBC in Pahoa’s old KFC building in the computer lab starting Wednesday, Oct. 18 .
A variety of subjects will be offered in the coming months, focusing on two classes a month. Each class will meet for four sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays for two weeks from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $60. For further information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 936-3046.
