Entries sought for photo expo
Anne Lyden, associate curator in the Department of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles has been selected as juror for the 14th annual Hawaii Photo Expo.
The goal of the Hawaii Photo Expo is to promote interest in the art of photography by offering Big Island photographers a
venue to share their work with the community. Organizers of this annual event look forward to presenting another exciting exhibit at Wailoa Center in June.
The Photo Expo uses a two-stage submission process. Digital entries are now being accepted for consideration and will be reviewed by the juror, Lyden. Only those entries that are accepted will need to be printed and framed for the exhibit which will run from June 9-27.
The expo is open to all residents of the Big Island and all photography enthusiasts are encouraged to enter the compeition.
Prizes are awarded in three divisions: Master, Enthusiast and Beginners.
