Exhibit opening today

Her artwork will accompany locally made wood furniture and ukuleles during the exhibit. “With no formal training, I get great pleasure being able to paint what I see, and if I can pass along this pleasure to people by doing these paintings, it is icing on the cake,” said Wallis of her work. Wailoa Arts Center and the Big Island Ukulele Guild will host the opening reception for the exhibit from 5-7 p.m. today at the Wailoa Arts Center. The exhibit will be open throughout the month of October.
