Get your keiki to listen better
What are the biggest challenges parents have with children & need support?
How do listening skills relate to how we feel inside?
Learn about these topics at the next Parent Hour at Kohala Library from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday when Catherine Rosasco-Mitchell presents “A Wellness Through Movement Event.”
Get tools for how to deal with a child that doesn’t always listen, and a sneak preview of how we will help your child listen better.
“We will be also sharing some exciting news about a free program that will be starting Wednesday, Jan. 22, on the Wellness Through Movement series after-school program,” said Rosasco-Mitchell.
Wellness Through Movement teaches the whole child through movement games — sensory motor learning with a child’s development in mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. The program is packed full of fun movement games for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
No registration is necessary for the Monday night talk-story. Registration for the upcoming after-school program begins now. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 885-7190. Funding comes from community members and the sponsorship of North Kohala Community Resource Center.
