Keaau Chess Tournament begins on Saturday
More than 60 chess players have registered for the Keaau Chess Tournament, which begins Saturday. The tourney is open to all ages and levels of players. Stop by the Signage & Beyond Products store in the Keaau Village Market and pick up a copy of the event rules.
The entry fee is $25. Prizes will be awarded. Coordinators are seeking a nonprofit organization that helps keep young people out of trouble as a recipient of 10 percent of the event proceeds. For more information, please call Jim Lee at 982-9998.
