Auditions for “The Mousetrap” are scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at the Waimea Community Theatre Office, above Tropical Dreams Factory at 66-1250 Lalamilo Farm Lot Road.
Performances will be Feb. 22-24 and March 1-3, on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. in the Parker School Historic Theatre located in central Waimea.
Auditions will consist of readings from the play and do not require prior preparation.

To reach the audition site, turn off Mamalahoa Highway at Mile Marker 1, park on the street next to the chainklink fence or across the street from Tropical Dreams Ice Cream. Please Do not park in the lot, as delivery trucks come and go at random times.
Roles are available for three adult women and five adult men.
Agatha Christie’s play is the world’s longest-running, now celebrating its 60th year.
The play revolves around a group of strangers stranded in a boarding house during a snow storm. One of the persons is a murderer.
Waimea Community Theatre and Chorus, an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, has been entertaining Big Island audiences since 1964. It operates Waimea Community Theatre, Waimea Community Chorus, Waimea Community Teen Theatre Troupe and Keiki Performing Arts Workshop.
“We are always interested in hearing from people interested in performing, in sponsorship and in volunteering to help as an usher, with props, costumes, stage crew, lights, sound, set construction, publicity, etc.,” said an organization spokesman.
