Pahoa students make dean’s list

Ruby Tidwell, a freshman at Western Oregon University, made the fall semester dean’s list. She is a graduate of Pahoa High School.

Hilo Intermediate School students are heading to Oahu on March 2 to compete in the Statewide Science Olympiad tournament after winning first place in district finals at the University of Hawaii at Hilo on Jan. 12.
