Parker School Trust Corp. elects board officers
At a recent meeting of the Parker School Trust Corp. Board of Directors, new member Saundra Gulley was welcomed and new officers elected. Incoming president is Shelby Anne Floyd. Gulley will serve as secretary/treasurer. Also serving on the board until the end of the year is outgoing President David T. Pietsch Jr.
The Parker School Trust was established by Richard Smart in 1978 to provide for private education in North Hawaii. During Smart’s lifetime, Parker School developed both secondary and adult educational programs. The trust supports Parker School and supports and administers Waimea Community Education.
