Fourth-grader Aislyn Dela Rosa-Alpiche dances in her class hula. Parker Lower School celebrated its eighth annual May Day Ho‘ike on May 3. Kindergarten through fifth-grade students performed various chants, songs and hula reflecting this year’s theme, “A‘ohe lokomaika‘i i nele i ka pana‘i,” which is interpreted as “No kind deed has ever lacked its reward. An opportunity to help another is a gift.”
