UHH Alumni Scholarship Golf Tournament is Oct. 20

The University of Hawaii at Hilo Alumni & Friends Association will host its ninth annual golf tournament on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Waikoloa Kings Course in South Kohala.

The tournament begins at 8 a.m. and is open to anyone who possesses an established handicap. The fee of $175 includes merchandise, green fees, cart, mulligans and lunch.

The UH-Hilo Alumni Golf Tournament was initiated in 2004 to raise scholarship funds for students attending the university.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic merit. Applicants must be alumni of UH-Hilo or have an immediate family member who is an alumnus of the school. Twenty-five scholarships have been awarded thus far.
