Vocabulary on parade

Parker School fifth-graders participate in a vocabulary parade in February, dressed in outfits representing words they had previously secretly chosen from a list learned so far this year in the language arts program. Students had to guess each other’s words by what their classmates were wearing. Each recited a short poem describing his or her mystery word.
