Entries for show due on Saturday
Wailoa Art and Cultural Center invites woodworkers on the Big Island to participate in this year’s eighth annual Big Island Woodworkers Invitational in conjunction with the Big Island Ukulele Guild and invited artists Robert Weiss and Michael and Misato Mortara.
As in wood exhibits of the past, the primary focus of the entries will be to exhibit fine wood furniture. Sculpture, mirrors and turnings will be accepted as accent pieces.
Woodworkers may submit unlimited woodwork and furniture entries on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Call 933-0416 if special delivery arrangements need to be made. Call for additional entry information or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
