Valentine’s Comedy Jam at UHH
The annual “Valentine’s Comedy Jam” will held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the University of Hawaii at Hilo Campus Center dining hall.
Featured in this all-star line-up will be comedy legend Mel Cabang and “Da Braddahs,” Tony Silva and James Roach, made popular
through their TV show on OC-16.
“It’s been almost two years since we were in Hilo to do our full comedy show. We really miss Hilo and it’s people and can’t wait to be back; this will be a special performance,” Tony Silva said.
Also featured will be comedian Bu La’ia who has a new show on K-FIVE and returns to Hilo after a long hiatus.
“Get ready Hilo, I’m baaaack!” La‘ia said.
Big Island resident comedienne Sherri Carden, aka the “Puna Princess,” and musical guest Lito Arkangel will also appear onstage for the event.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and showtime is at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and are available at CD Wizard and Blane’s Drive-Inn.
