3.4-magnitude earthquake strikes the Big Island

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Big Island on Friday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The temblor, located 11 miles southeast of Volcano, occurred at 9:22 p.m.

It’s epicenter was 5.3 miles underground.
