Gov. Neil Abercrombie talks with fifth-grader Latasha Mosley, 11, about how she uses a MacBook Air to learn math at Keaau Elementary School on Wednesday morning. The governor also proclaimed Feb. 6 as Digital Learning Day in Hawaii at the school. Abercrombie stopped by the school to congratulate students, faculty and staff for the work they have done incorporating digital tools into learning. Every student at the school has access to his own digital learning device.
