Isle roadwork planned

The state Department of Transportation has announced the following Big Island lane closures Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., daily:

l Keaau-Pahoa Road (Highway 130), near Ainaloa Boulevard, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 7- and 8-mile markers, for roadway excavation and paving.

l Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) near Waimea, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 2- and 7-mile markers near Waiaka Junction, for pavement resurfacing.

l Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 190) near Kailua-Kona, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road, for pavement resurfacing.

l Volcano Highway (Highway 11) near Mountain View, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Kukui Camp Road and North Lauko Road, for roadside utility installations.
