A Hilo grand jury has indicted a man for a Sept. 19 burglary at a Hina Street home in Hilo.
The three-count indictment dated Wednesday charges 20-year-old Kimo Oberle with first-degree burglary, unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle and third-degree theft.
According to police, Oberle entered the home and car at the same address without permission and stole a woman’s skateboard.
First-degree burglary is a Class B felony punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle is a Class C felony punishable by a five-year prison term.
Third-degree theft is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.
