Police to hold community meeting in Naalehu
The Hawaii Police Department will hold a community meeting from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, at the Naalehu Community Center.
The meeting will allow the public to meet the Police Department’s command staff and to discuss concerns with the police chief and commanders who oversee police operations in the Kau District.
To aid police commanders in focusing on specific concerns, it is requested that participation be limited to persons who live or work in the Ka‘u District.
The Ka‘u event continues the Police Department’s ongoing district community meetings, which are rotated throughout the eight police districts on the Big Island.
Those interested in participating but unable to attend the Kau meeting may call Captain Andrew Burian at 939-2520, stop by the Kau police station in Naalehu or e-mail concerns or comments to email@example.com.
