Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 40-year-old man wanted for violating his probation on an assault conviction.
Sheldon Joaquin is described as local, 5-foot-6, 150 pounds with a tan complexion. He is known to frequent the Hamakua and Waipio Valley areas.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
