Silent films return to Palace

Hilo Theatre Organ Society and The Palace Theater are teaming up once again to present silent movies with live pipe organ accompaniment.

Tonight at 7 p.m. the two organizations will present “Silent Comedy Theatre,” an evening of classic Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy movies.

The films will be accompanied by Tommy Stark, who will play the Palace’s vintage pipe organ as the movies unfold.
