U.S. Marine Lt. Brett Harber is surrounded by E.B. de Silva Elementary students asking for his autograph after he and nine other servicemen read books to the students Friday afternoon. The Marines are only on the island for 10 days of training. They will return to their base in Iwakuni, Japan, on Tuesday but enjoyed getting out into the community to volunteer with residents before their departure. This is the second year the group has visited the elementary school and hopes to make it a longstanding tradition.
